Herald Gospel Camp was truly inspiring, amazing, fun, and eye-opening. It inspired me to strive for a stronger and more solid relationship with God/Jesus. When we arrived back home, I decided to change my lifestyle completely and try to be someone who could be seen as a follower of God.

It's amazing to see a new generation of kids come into camp unsure of what to expect, and then leave smiling and eager to return the next year. For returning campers, I love seeing them grow more passionately in love with who God is because I myself can relate to that same growth. I think what the youth learn most is love, joy, and discipline. Camp Herald shows me what an absolutely wonderful Daddy He is!!

It's been a couple years since I last served as a counselor at HGC, but I vividly remember the experience: bonding with a younger generation of crazy kids, serving with fellow counsellors and staff, worshipping our Lord during praise time, and my favorite, free time. It was definitely a blessing!
